Rihanna's Date-Night Style Is Setting the Standard For Effortless Dressing

The year is starting out strong with a healthy dose of celebrity couple style servings. And the latest fashion inspiration came from internet favorites Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, who have already sent the people buzzing about their often coordinated date looks. On a recent dinner date, Rihanna stepped out in an instantly recognizable logo-embossed Gucci gilet, part of the brand's Hacker Project with luxury player Balenciaga.

The 33-year-old star and newly appointed Hero of her native land Barbados, layered a gilet over what seems to be a black midi dress and styled a shawl as a headscarf as she headed to dinner in Santa Monica. Her glasses, thick black frames and red-colored lenses, were also from Gucci. Together, the pieces conveyed an effortless off-duty look that is true to the singer's date-night style. She dialed up the sex appeal with nude heels that also brought a feminine touch. On theme with the fashion occasion, boyfriend A$AP donned a graffiti denim jacket with bejeweled gray sweatpants.
