BAFTA Film Awards: The Best Dressed Celebrities on the Red Carpet

The 2022 EE BAFTA Film Awards celebrate the best of British and international cinema. Hosted this year by Rebel Wilson, the show was filled with comedic genius, heartfelt acceptance speeches, and incredible red carpet fashion moments.

There were quite a few fashionable films up for nominations. The cast of "House of Gucci," particularly Lady Gaga, brought drama to the red carpet in Ralph Lauren. We were also keen on seeing what a few rising stars chose to wear, particularly "Bridgerton"'s Simone Ashley and EE rising star award nominees Millicent Simmonds, Lashana Lynch, and Morfydd Clark.

Opening the red carpet was Clara Amfo in a rose-gold strapless lamé midi dress and Bimini Bon Boulash wearing an eclectic white lace dress with blue, full-length gloves. We also noticed a few standout trends like yellow gowns worn by "West Side Story"'s Ariana DeBose, "Saint Maude" star and EE rising star nominee Morfydd Clark, and screenwriter and director Charlotte Carroll. Our favorite trend of the evening? The cutout details on the gowns worn by "Belfast" star Caitriona Balfe and emerging actor Shalom Brune-Franklin. Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout.
