J Lo Wows in a Completely Sheer Top and 6-Inch Platform Sandals

Jennifer Lopez is showing the world that you can, indeed, wear head-to-toe white during the coldest months of winter, showing off her colorless look on Instagram on Thursday. Posing in a slew of selfies and full-body photos, she layered a long mid-calf length sheer button-down underneath a longline blazer. She finished the look with matching pleat-front trousers and a thin gold belt at the waist, all designed by Michael Kors. It is, in fact, much of the designer's look 41 from his Spring 2023 runway show.

Lopez chose the color as a nod to her new film, "Shotgun Wedding," but her layered styling is perfect for events that have nothing to do with onscreen nuptials as well. Her first layer is a sheer, utility-style button-down shirt with two oversize flap pockets on the chest. She fastened only one button at her chest, leaving her neckline open and bottom flowing as she walked like a cape. The tunic was layered underneath a longline blazer and, while hitting at her high thigh, it still fell short of the shirt beneath. Her matching white trousers were wide legged and slightly flared, with a pleated front and thin gold belt for a pop of sparkle. Her platform heeled sandals echoed the metallic hue, as did her layered necklaces, all from Foundrae. She captioned her post "It's a nice day for a white (Shotgun) Wedding."

Lopez has been having a very monochromatic promotional tour, having just worn an all-pink look (right down to her matching manicure) for an interview with costar Josh Duhamel. She also promoted Bodyarmor, a flavored sports drink, on Instagram in a matching workout set that's ready to launch Barbiecore into the 2023 stratosphere.

The choice of white, however, mirrors her look throughout the film to come, where teasers have shown her in a strapless white gown for most of the duration. And with a layered look, the 53-year-old made a totally sheer top both cool and sultry.

Ahead, check out the look and shop the style for yourself.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
