Storm Reid Looks Mesmerizing in a Sheer Crystal Minidress With a Waist Cutout

Awards season may have passed, but Storm Reid is here to prove that the season for red-carpet-worthy outfits is never ending. On March 21, the "The Last of Us" star stepped out in a sheer crystal minidress with a glittering hip cutout at the 2023 Fashion Trust US Awards in Los Angeles.

Wearing a look from Jonathan Simkhai's spring 2023 runway collection, Reid posed on the red carpet, turning to display the dress's hypnotic swirl pattern from all angles. Her stylists, Jason Bolden and John Mumblo, paired the ensemble with strappy heeled sandals by Christian Louboutin, diamond hoop earrings, a layered floral bracelet in gold, and a metallic handbag with a chain-link strap.

Reid's dress featured an asymmetrical neckline with crystal straps that beautifully mirrored the chandelier-like detailing along the hem. Across the bust, the dress boasted a shimmering silver design reminiscent of rays of sunshine. And as the crystal pattern spiraled down her waist, the piece split at the hip, revealing a strappy cutout on her right side. Reid's beauty team completed the outfit with metallic eyeshadow and icy pink lip gloss.

"slayy storm slay," Natalia Bryant commented on Instagram photos of Reid's look. Admiring Reid's reflective outfit, Flo Milli also wrote, "so classy." In another comment, Nia Long, who plays Reid's mother in their new thriller "Missing," added, "Please stop growing up. You'll always be my baby."

Other celebrities in attendance at the award ceremony included Law Roach, Lukas Gage, Olivia Wilde, Tracee Ellis Ross, Paris Jackson, and Demi Moore and Scout Willis.
