Coco Jones Puts Her Abs on Display With a Sequined Cutout Gown at the BET Awards

Coco Jones's abs were her best accessory at the BET Awards. On June 25, the 25-year-old actor and singer arrived on the pink carpet in a red LaQuan Smith gown with a stomach-baring ab window. The off-the-shoulder cutout design included an open back with a thin knotted neckline that also showed off a little underboob. As Jones walked the carpet before her performance, the sequins covering her dress caught the light perfectly, helping her shine even brighter. She posed to reveal more of the body-contouring silhouette, as well as the subtle leg slit hidden in the back.

Jones kept the focus on her stomach cutout, which dipped all the way below her belly button, with minimal accessories. Staying true to her bright color palette, she wore glittery heels and opted for iridescent drop earrings, leaving her chest completely bare. She styled her hair in a low pony, leaving a few wavy strands loose to frame her face and once again bringing the attention back to her dress.

Cutouts have proven to be a favorite among celebrities, but ab windows specifically are the bold trend slowly claiming their space on the red carpet. Lori Harvey, for instance, used a similar design to put her abs on display at the Cannes Film Festival. Margot Robbie also stepped out in a hooded stomach-cutout dress for the premiere of "Babylon" in December 2022, although her version was less of an ab window and more of a slice.
