Dua Lipa Lights Up the Beach in a Molten Lava Minidress: "All I Do Is Beach"

Dua Lipa looked ready to dance the night away as she hit the beach in a metallic minidress on Aug. 3. Hot off the "Barbie" movie press tour, Lipa, who plays Mermaid Barbie, posed by the water in the strappy ensemble, which she paired with chunky jewelry. In addition to the striking fabric, Lipa's night-out look featured a dramatic side train that resembled rose gold lava cascading down her waist. "All I do is beach," she captioned Instagram photos of herself, channeling Ryan Gosling's Ken-ergy.

A futuristic take on the Barbiecore fashion trend, Lipa's chrome dress looked like the kind of outfit Barbie would magically slip into ahead of a night out with the girls or a disco dance party set to the "Barbie" movie soundtrack. The full ensemble featured a square neckline and a fluttery miniskirt that gave the chic silhouette movement as Lipa walked along the water. She styled the dress with a chain-link statement necklace, multiple rings, and a colorful shoulder bag.

Earlier this summer, Lipa gave another nod to the Barbiecore trend while wearing a pink velvet dress and thigh-high pink boots. She styled the playful outfit with a metallic saddle-bag purse that resembled a disco ball. In June, she also showed off her 2023 swimwear wardrobe, including a Versace polka-dot string bikini adorned with multi-colored ladybugs and butterflies.
